Reader’s Question:

I’ve always thought that Mazda’s always excelled in styling. I think I’m about ready to get one and drive it in Houston, Texas but got lost on Mazda 3 and Mazdaspeed 3. So what’s the difference?

Jeffrey

Houston, TX

Hello there, Jeffrey. Yes, you are right. In my opinion, too, Mazda’s got it made in styling. Evidence of this for me goes back to the days they came up with the first RX-7 and MX-5. Now we have the Mazda 3. Mazda, like any respectable motor company, has its own group that churns out sporty versions of stock vehicles. Mazda has Mazdaspeed doing this for their cars.

Check out the Mazdaspeed 3 at your Houston, Texas Mazda dealer and you will see some noticeable differences. You can see a spoiler, flared front fenders and that the hood is bigger than the base Mazda 3. The lower air intake is also bigger in the Mazdaspeed version. Underneath the hood, you’ll find a 2.3 liter engine that gives you an exciting 263 horsepower performance. Are you ready to say, “Woot, woot?” Over at the standard Mazda 3, you also get a 2.3 Liter engine that churns a reliable 156 hp. Handling has always been excellent for the Mazda 3. I’ll leave the Mazdaspeed 3 experience to your imagination. I guess, pretty much, you’ll base your choice on how you plan to use the vehicle. So, if you’re looking at a zippy, “fun” drive around Houston, you can’t go wrong with a Mazda 3. But if you’re thinking more like “Fast and the Furious,” go for Mazdaspeed 3. There’s my five cents of opinion for you, Jeffrey.

As crossover vehicles become more and more popular, the Acura RDX, a small luxury crossover, available today at Acura of Tempe in the Phoenix area, establishes itself as not only an adventurous SUV but also has moved forward from the rest with some of the most technological features available. The RDX combines it’s highly mechanized architecture and performance capabilities to offer a level of intrigue many crossover makers simply cannot match.

The Acura RDX has an unusually universal appeal. Its high functionality makes it a practical choice. Its sporty look makes it a fun choice. And its luxurious ..

What is The Best Houston Mazda Dealer?

I think it’s pretty obvious what the best Houston Mazda is, and that’s the Miata, which has a long history as one of the best convertible sports cars in the industry, so obviously best Houston Mazda would be no trick for it. I bought mine from Gillman best Houston Mazda, and I was able to negotiate it down a couple thousand, although it’s already cheap for its class.

I think that the Miata is the best Houston Mazda I’ve driven especially when it comes to fun–you don’t know it until you experience it. In addition to that, it’s very economic and quick.

Should You Use This Houston Mazda Dealer?

The first car which caught my eye at my Houston Mazda dealer was the Mazda3, a very small car which is what I was looking for since I don’t like bulky cars. Still, I wanted to have room to move around in, which is something rare in compact cars. As my dealer salesperson showed me, the Mazda3 is unique in its spaciousness–I think this is because it is a lot less cluttered and bulky than other compact cars. You cut down on a lot of room when you make things easy to understand.

Since bringing my Mazda3 home from my  dealer, I’ve gotten used to its agile handling and great storage space. The fuel economy isn’t quite what I thought it would be, but it’s still up there. The dealer I used was Joe Meyers Mazda, and I liked dealing with Daniel in new car sales.

Should I Use The Auto Loan Financing At a Houston Mazda Dealership?

Just to start out with a disclaimer, I have almost perfect credit, so I was one of the very few people who could be approved for zero percent financing at my local Houston Mazda dealership. Since only seven percent of applicants can do that, I’m talking to that seven percent to whom the  dealership gives a choice.

If your dealer offers you a choice between zero percent financing and a rebate of $2000+, take the rebate! I had this option from my  Mazda dealership and did the math, and while with the zero percent financing I would have ended up paying only a few cents more than the purchase price of the car, with the rebate I ended up paying a thousand dollars less.

Would You Recommend A Mazda Dealer in Houston Please?

I was looking for a sports utility vehicle at my local Mazda dealer in Houston, and I found the Mazda Tribute. It was on sale since they have the 2008 cars coming in, and it had a style that I didn’t see in many cars at the Mazda dealer in Houston.

I had seen the Tribute before the last time I came to a dealer in Houston several years ago, and it has changed a lot since then, mostly when it comes to the design, which has been updated and styled out. It’s a very comfortable SUV, although for people who want something a little more off-road ready they might have to keep looking around.  I have heard good things about Gillman and Joe Myers Mazda dealers, can anyone give a recommendation on either one?
